Ryan and Lindsay first met each other at a popular tavern where Lindsay worked. Ryan works in sales, and frequented the tavern with his business associates for meetings and parties.  Ryan persisted in his wooing of Lindsay, asking her out on multiple occasions. On her birthday, he asked her out again–and this time he showed up with two dozen amethyst roses in hand to sweeten the deal!

How could she resist? The two went on their first date together the next night.

Lindsay and Ryan knew from the moment they were engaged that elopement was the perfect choice for their wedding. They describes their life together as happy and quiet, but busy, and agreed that an intimate wedding in a beautiful location fit their personality perfectly.

Their vows were exchanged during an early August evening on a mountainside with breathtaking panoramic views. Having originally planned to elope in California, they quickly and eagerly changed their minds after we talked about some of the amazing locations to have an intimate wedding in Colorado. Since neither of them had been here before and they love to hike, this offered the perfect opportunity for them to experience the Colorado Rockies.

“A mountain wedding is the way to go!” says Lindsay. “Our wedding was a day I’ll never forget, filled with love, happiness, laughter, and just a couple of close friends. It was perfect! We couldn’t be more happy with the service provided by Blue Sky Elopements.  I am so happy we chose Maureen to make our day as special as it was!”
