A Destination Wedding in Colorado for Dana and Phil
Dana, Phil and their parents came from Cleveland, Ohio for the couple’s Colorado destination wedding. When Dana first contacted me, she told me they were “open to lots of ideas.”
Oh goody, I’ve got lots of those!
Because it was to be a vacation for both them and their folks, we wanted to give them the true Colorado Rocky Mountain experience. They ended up booking their lodging at Trail Ridge Condominiums in Breckenridge and holding the ceremony at my favorite Breckenridge Lake Dillon Overlook venue.
Dana wanted us to handle everything for them so we put together a custom wedding package of an officiant, photography, bouquet/boutonniere and onsite hair and makeup services.
Dana’s bouquet was a beautiful blend of burgundy, blush and pink.

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
“.All of it! The weather was perfect, the scenery was spectacular, the chipmunks were super cute, and oh…we got married! :)”
Any advice for other couples planning to elope?
“If you want to have a wedding that is truly about only you and your spouse, we think eloping is the best way to go!.”
What was the best thing about having an intimate wedding?
“We really felt like we could enjoy the moment. Having a lot of people around while we got married would have been distracting for us and we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy it.”
