An Elopement in the California Redwoods for Kenny and Carlos
An Intimate Gathering of family and friends amid the California redwoods
Kenny and Carlos knew exactly what they wanted when we had our first consult call–an intimate gathering of family and friends amid the California redwoods. And they wanted it to be a bit more formal than a simple elopement—with a wedding party, seats for guests and a guitarist.
We discussed the various redwood venue options and they ultimately decided on this gorgeous private redwood grove just outside of Saratoga. The built-in benches eliminated the need to bring in chairs (which can be both cumbersome and pricey) and the wedding deck nestled into the redwood trees provided an air of elegance to the natural surroundings.

…to take advantage of the gorgeous redwood backdrops throughout the park. The sun was just dipping behind the towering redwoods, which provide soft light for their winter wedding photos.
Kenny’s bouquet was made up of white roses, white peonies, pine cones, juniper with berries, and silver dollar eucalyptus. Perfect for January!
Kenny was a natural in front of the camera and her full length train shimmered in the late afternoon sunlight.
