Kevin and Elizabeth Elope in Aspen

Kevin and Elizabeth planned to have a small ceremony at Maroon Bells when they eloped in October.  Unfortunately, the delayed snowfall and glorious fall weather kept the roads packed with bumper to bumper tourist traffic. A wedding at Maroon Bells wasn’t going to happen that day.

Good weather and manageable traffic are never guaranteed, so as with all good wedding planning, I had a Plan B in mind for the couple.

A short detour led us a lovely park near Aspen that still offered a fantastic views of the mountains and a ceremony setting nestled among the still-golden aspens.

A short-lived shower didn’t dampen the mood for this party. Maybe the rain brought Kevin and Elizabeth a little extra good luck?

Taylor’s flowers were a combination of roses, white anemones, and calla lilies in purple and white.
