Kathryn and Colin Marry in Crested Butte

By Julie Monroe | Colorado elopement

There is nothing more gorgeous than the Colorado Rockies in fall. When the aspens turn their leaves in preparation for winter, they set the mountains ablaze in brilliant gold.

Kathryn and Colin chose the fantastic backdrop of the landscapes near Crested Butte for their intimate wedding ceremony with family.

Kathryn carried a bouquet of sunflowers and white roses, tied together with white ribbon. Flowers were woven into her hair, with a pop of red accenting her dress and bouquet. She and Colin exchanged matching silver wedding bands

The Rockies are beautiful at any time of day, but the evening sun at Colin and Kathryn's ceremony cast a spectacular glow on the landscape. Light filtering through the trees and the perfect still of the couple's reflection on the water helped to create breathtaking images of their special day.
